I
am a personable
professional who has always had a love for art and imagery. I'll set you
at ease and listen to what you want from your photographer. As a
photographer, I thrive
on
creating images that stir emotion within you and that you love to look
at. You can expect a strong work ethic, honesty, and commitment
to deliver only the best imagery.
In my college days, I earned a B.A. in Sociology and History from
Northwestern College and a M.A. in Teaching from Grand Canyon
University.
I've been married since 1997 and have two wonderful sons. We've lived in
Colorado Springs since 1998 have been active members of Pikes Peak Christian
Church for several years. We thoroughly enjoy
traveling (mainly to CA and AZ to see family) and the many outdoor
activities Colorado provides.
At this time in my life, I enjoy the music I couldn't stand in my
younger years (I'll keep you guessing!). I like a good action movie like
most guys, but relish the times I can watch a "chick flick" with my wife
after the kids have gone to bed. Growing up I always thought I'd stay in
Southern California, but now I love the slower-paced life Colorado
Springs provides. I don't like walks on the beach (never did like the
beach so much), but am always amazed when I have the time to admire the
colorful sunsets over the Rockies.
In short, life is good (really good) and I thank God for all the ways He
has blessed my family.

Finch Fotography is a
member of
Greener Photography, an organization of
photographers committed to reducing waste and protecting the
environment.
Most of what we do to
be green is "behind the scenes." We recycle or reuse 90%+ of
our
business-generated waste (mostly paper and
cardboard). We turn off our computers and monitors
when not in use. We
keep our thermostat set at 65 degrees in the winter and 78 degrees
in
the summer.
While these and other
efforts will largely go unnoticed by you, our clients, you will notice
our efforts to reuse packaging/shipping materials. You will most likely
receive your prints and other photography products in a reused package
(clear plastic bags to protect your prints, cardboard boxes for shipping,
etc.). While custom packaging looks nice, we know that it will most likely end up in
a landfill.
You can rest assured
that our efforts to reduce, reuse, and recycle never compromise the
quality of products you receive or the equipment we use to produce your
keepsake photography. We only use professional photography equipment and
all our products come from professional photo labs and other such
vendors.
